Overview

QuickBooks MCP Server is a private internal tool used to manage QuickBooks Online accounts. It is not available to the general public.

Data Collection

This application accesses QuickBooks Online data solely for the purpose of managing accounting records on behalf of the account owner. Specifically, it may access:

• Company information
• Chart of accounts
• Customer, vendor, and item records
• Tax codes and rates
• Transaction data

Data Storage

OAuth tokens are stored locally on the operator's machine. No data is transmitted to third-party servers. All QuickBooks data remains within the QuickBooks Online platform and the operator's local environment.

Data Sharing

This application does not share, sell, or distribute any data to third parties.

Data Retention

OAuth tokens are retained locally until revoked or expired. No QuickBooks data is cached or stored persistently beyond what is needed for immediate operations.

Security

Access tokens and refresh tokens are stored in the local file system with standard file permissions. The application communicates with QuickBooks Online exclusively over HTTPS.
